Live! Independently is here to help people who wish to stay in their current homes rather than move to assisted living. We offer:

• a comprehensive assessment of your home
• written recommendations on adaptations that can be made
• phased estimates of suggested changes
• contractor services to complete the recommendations you select

Typical changes might include:

• installation of grab bars in shower and adjacent to toilet
• widening of doorways
• switching faucets to single lever and paddle handles
• installation of bathroom or kitchen sink that can used with a walker or wheelchair
• installation of handrail for indoor and outdoor steps
• switch out of stove for one that is safer and more accessible from a wheelchair
• installation of a ramp for access to the home (we offer both purchase and lease programs)
